How echo works

The missed-connection moment, completed only when both sides noticed — and built so it never feels creepy.

How it works

  1. Describe a spot

Saw someone in public? Describe them in a sentence and tag where & when.

  2. Wait for a mutual echo

If that person described you back near the same place & time, both of you get notified.

  3. Confirm, then chat

Each side confirms "yes, that's me" before any chat opens. Only a mutual yes connects you.

You pick the intent

Every spot is one of two modes — the romantic-vs-not split is the only hard filter, so the two pools never mix.

Romantic

A spark you'd want to follow up on.

Other

Professional, a potential friend, or just curious.

Your privacy is the product

  • No photos. Ever.

You describe someone in words — never a photo, never a face scan. No facial recognition is part of Echo, by design.

  • Mutual-only.

Nothing happens unless they described you too. A one-sided spot reveals nothing to anyone — they never learn you exist.

  • Gone in 48 hours.

Every spot quietly expires after 48 hours. No history, no trace, no "see who looked at you" — not even on premium.
